Hello Band!

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

Rose Festival pins are in and available to purchase for $10.  $5 of every pin comes back to the band.

Bottle Drop Bags - in celebration of Earth week now through April 26th any bags dropped off in the band's blue bag receive an extra 20% donation.  The blue bags have the tags already on them, you don't need an account, just drop them at any Bottle Drop location.

And now from our Director:

Hello! Thank you for your hard work and the fun rehearsals! 

This Tuesday, I would like to plan on a standing rehearsal of our concert music outside for the first hour or so, depending on daylight. Please bring a stand or lyre.  We will move back inside for the remaining time.  No marching this week.

Section leaders, I would like to set up chairs as normal before the rehearsal begins so they are ready for the second half of the evening.

These are things in some of the songs that were asked to be reviewed. 

99 Red Balloons: 

            Trumpets: check the melody at 29 and at 39, they are different

Blinding Lights: Will be conducted in cut time.        

            Measure 51: upper ww and horn, work through the articulation

Butter: check the rhythm in the last two measures

Happy Together: keep checking the key signature

            Measures 26-27, 48-49 check the cut-off of the long note

            Measure 48: upper ww, make sure to swing the 8th notes

Let It Be/Hey Jude: 

            Measure 34: Low ww and low brass, double check the rhythm
